Well, I guess misleading/negative campaigning pays off. I am absolutely appalled that sensible voters in our district stayed home, assuming that the election was in the bag. This is the problem with most voters. They don't follow through, and they lose out in the end. I am so sorry that the Glasheen camp did not answer the Klein accusations and left it up to Pratt to point out the discrepancies in his mailings. Klein did not win this election. Kevin Glasheen lost it because he did not campaign aggressively and positively in the runoff. And the citizens of Lubbock will continue to suffer from city government that is out of control, with no responsible oversight.
