I listened to former president Clinton's speech at Lubbock High last Saturday night, and I must tell you that I got the distinct impression that I was listening to an oily Saturday morning infomercial.
I can't count the times 'ol Bill said "and Hillary's gonna GIVE you". Every time I heard that I clutched onto my wallet a little tighter. I kept on imagining him saying "If you call right now, Hillary's gonna GIVE you", followed by "but WAIT, there's MORE!".
Well, whatever the magical cost is, it's too much for this West Texan to take. As far as I'm concerned, idiotic government regulations has caused most of the problems with much of what he was schilling about (health insurance, education, etc.).
The one thing that sent chills up my spine was hearing these "worker drones" screaching in approval to his speech like it was some basketball game or something. Heaven help us.
