Roger Settler's DeLeon Recall Petition fails - over 400 signatures disallowed
I guess I am confused....
Are the organizers of these petitions just really too incompetent to go to the people of the district to get signatures? I would think that since there is a geographic area that is represented that to locate potential valid petition signers would not be that difficult.
or
Is the City Secretary's office incompetent in its accuracy of validation? I would hope that an accurate count, give or take 400 signatures, isn't the case. (I am curious as to whether or not the previous secrecy of validating such signatures is now something of the past.)
or
Is it a little bit of both?
While I know that there are several vocal citizens about recalling Linda of the Lion, regardless of reasons, the inability to do so doesn't make anyone look too bright in this whole "novela" (it might be a better Telenovela than a book!)
