How long will it take for Enrique Rangel to claim the Delwin spanking [of Hnatek] as an interpretation of anti-Craddickalism in Texas ???

I enjoy the show since leaving the A-J. Keep hammering Lubbock on the need for Craddick. As former city editor of the Midland paper, I grew close to Craddick and can assure you that your assessments of his person is on-target.

I think the Phil King primary is more indicative of where Craddick stands as Speaker.

And Haggerty, a Craddick opponent, has been spanked at least in early voting.

Additionally, take a look at Buddy West, whose health has been failing for several years and it shows with his committee chairmanship and staffers making fun of him from his performance in hearings. Looks like he may wash out too having bad-mouthed Craddick for way too long.

Anyway, went on too long. No outlet for number-crunching and election analysis since leaving newspaper business. Have a good one.
