Dear Robert,

We are in Junction tonight. We have had a great ride so far with zero incidents.

Opening ceremonies in Perryton were the best ever. Our riders were allowed to ride their bike in front of the wall, one at a time, and had their picture made in front of the wall with US & Texas flag in the background. According to officials with the traveling wall, we were the first group to ever be afforded this honor.

Upon arriving in Childress Sunday evening, we were the guest of the Chamber of Commerce, Carey Baptist Church, & the 1st Baptist Church of Olustee, OK for a world class BBQ dinner for all riders. Entertainment was provided by the praise team from the Olustee, OK church.

We left Childress at 0800 this morning after a pancake breakfast at Carey Baptist Church. We made a rest stop in Hamlin, provided by the Hamlin Christian Motorcyclist Association. Then on to Abilene where lunch was provided by Kent's Harley Davidson. We made a fuel and rest stop in Eden before coming into Junction where we were greeted by a wonderful patriotic ceremony at the courthouse and then treated to a chicken fajita dinner, provided by the Junction Chamber of Commerce and local merchants.

We have been honored to present Band-Aid for the Heart medals to 9 Vietnam veterans today including two Abilene PD motorcycle officers. These medals are from the Veterans Music Ministry, Monica Harvey, from Stapleton, NE. www.veteransmusicministry.com

Monica has presented over 13,000 of these medals, one at a time, to Vietnam vets across the nation, and has authorized a select few to present medals to veterans, in her name.

Tomorrow it is on to Leakey, Uvalde, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs, and Laredo. Will let you know more later.

Sincerely,

Brent Jackson
