The AJ and the City of Lubbock must be in bed together.
The AJ supports every lame idea that the City Administration can dream up. Why
not put kiosks in convenience stores, motels, hotels and the airport that have
pamphlets that tell about Lubbock attractions and how to get to these
attractions. Restaurants and other businesses that want out of town visitor's
business could pay for pamphlets advertising their businesses. They could have a
section that shows current events every month. It would cost a lot less than $3
million dollar white elephant visitor center. And it would be a lot more
effective than a visitor center.
