I had previously sent you an e-mail about a red light camera ticket that my mother had received toward the end of February 2008. This ticket was for running a red light on January 31, 2008 but my mother had traded this automobile to a local dealer when she bought a new car on January 15, 2008. She had not owned this car for at least two weeks prior to the ticket being issued. She sent a copy of the bill of sale showing this car had been traded in to the dealer on January 15, 2008. A couple of days ago she got another letter saying she now owes $100 instead of the original $75. This sounds like a rerun of the Dallas red light ticket you had mentioned on your program.
It would be much more cost effective if the City of Lubbock would have a competent person review mail they get in regard to these tickets and toss out cases like my mother's since she did not own the car at the time and was at home 60 miles away from Lubbock.
This current city administration and city council seems to be cursed with the mark of incompetence on everything they touch. They seem to want us to believe everything they tell us is true in spite of what our lying eyes are telling us is true. WE NEED RELIEF!!!
