Pratt,

Appreciate the Lubbock AJ endorsing Miller but, they forgot to list his accomplishments. Here are a few:

  1. Ran on reputation on his work of the George Bush Library - oops we didn't get that....did we ever really have a chance?
  2. Raised taxes after he campaigned that he would not
  3. Red Light Camera supporter
  4. Accepted the budget that had income from Red Light cameras for $500,000
  5. Hiring freeze because of concerns of budget
  6. Gave raises to many of the top earners and management of the city -even after the freeze
  7. Chippendale embarrassment
  8. Just now got started on getting a pipeline going for Alan Henry...2 years?
  9. City law suits with the city medical insurance
  10. Animal Shelter went from a $1,500,000 improvement to now $6,000,000 project!!!!
  11. Crazy water restrictions last summer because of poor planning on construction
  12. Tried to take credit for less water use....hmmmm what about the water restrictions and record rainfall we had?
  13. Open door policy but, calls people uniformed, uneducated and citizens against virtually everything (CAVE man)
  14. Strict code enforcement on parking the wrong way
  15. City Secretary handling of recall vote....or lack of
  16. City website...great pictures and boastful info from Miller and city manager
  17. No definition of runoff or fine for water waste
  18. Allowing Jones to vote on visitors center when she owns property next to it
  19. Visitors center - $1million for a building to tear it down and now $6 million for a new one....
  20. Last .......votes the vast majority with Deleon and Price - wow - enough said.

Thanks and God Bless Lubbock and the USA!

Mika
