Mr. Pratt,

I am a 26 year old voter new to the glorious Lubbock area. I am a loyal listener to your radio program and have been listening to you speak about our current mayor. Knowing all that our Mayor has done to this great city (more like not done), I have never once felt more insulted to receive a piece of mail today, coming from Mayor Miller.

The letter that I am writing about is the "Are You Wondering What Happened, Too?" mail out. I do not know if you have received this mailing prior to today or spoken about it. However, as of today, I feel that Mayor Miller is no longer worthy of the title "Mayor of Lubbock." He has truly shown his true colors with this particular piece of bovine excrement.

I was not, and I emphasize NOT, going to vote for Mayor Miller for re-election, but now, I will ask my friends, co-workers, and family to please not vote for Miller and tell them why.

Thank you for broadcasting the truth and exposing the worthless and wasteful actions of our Mayor Miller.

I got the mailing and it's the same old saw. Claims expenses are caused by people making insurance claims, not by the administrator. Checks from the city are written directly to the health care providers, they do not pass through the administrator. See this story released yesterday.
