In regard to the latest Miller campaign commercial, and the one's I understand are to follow: 1) Is this the action of a real Christian? Wouldn't a real Christian have taken the high road, thanked the "victim" and moved on? 2) Is this the kind of leadership that we want to help govern our community? Is it leadership at all? Or just a desperate man clinging to a position? 3) And finally, is there no such thing as "truth in advertising" or does it only apply to the, now defunct, Sharper Image, and not politics in our community? Should anyone pursue the issue, who is culpable? The advertiser? The agency? The media?

This mayor’s race has made enemies of neighbors, old friends, employees and employers. Miller supporters have been hateful to those who don’t support him, stolen campaign signs, and allowed this man to be a detriment to our community spirit.

While I may not think Tom Martin is the best thing since sliced bread, I have had enough the Mayor Miller brand of hate and discontent. Let’s get on with making our community a great place to live, work, and raise our families, not a battleground for a power hungry hypocrite to destroy. Perhaps he should rename Spirit Ranch…Mean Spirited Ranch has a more truthful ring to it.

Sincerely and respectfully,

G.
