Hi Robert,

Well, one down and two to go. Can you just imagine what can be done or undone, with the help of 4 or 5 (if you count Gilbreath) and Mayor Martin????? Lubbock could get back on track to solvency and stewardship of the money of the citizens of Lubbock. What a neat concept, huh??? lol

Miller is in full blown denial, as to why he “lost” the election. Of course, as usual, he is blaming everything but himself. I could tell him the reason, but it would be lost on him. It’s because he cared nothing for the will of the people, but the will of “Miller” was always his overriding thought process. In the history of Lubbock, I don’t think I have ever witnessed a Mayor with as much arrogance and pride as he has shown. Even poor ole Windy Sitton, didn’t show that much. She was just always out of the loop of the staff at City Hall. Do you think maybe Dumbauld, and the “legal eagle” might be a bit skittish as to their future in Lubbock?? Hope, I hope………….I hope………..

Thanks, Robert, much of the credit goes to you for your diligence as to the issues. We could never have done it without you.

One last question: Can this new administration overturn the vote on the visitors center, or is it going on as voted on??

Judy

Pratt responds:

We still need another solid vote so the runoffs are very important. Plans for the center have not yet been submitted to the council so there is an easy way to pair the cost down substantially.
