Can you believe this guy?
Larry Burkes (Lubbock Soccer Association) was interviewed by KFYO last night and was heard to say "what were going to do is set up a team of individuals to explore different ways to get the funding through private donations and different soccer channels to get the funding"...
Why were these avenues not exhausted before attempting to shove this project down the throats of the citizens of Lubbock?
In another call this morning to LFN I heard a soccer dad say that the only problem with the Burl Huffman complex was the access. One way in, one way out. What is this BS??
Could the real problem be that the South Lubbock Soccer families don't like the trek up to North Lubbock to play?
Thank God the people of this community seem to be opening their eyes to this out of control spending.
