City of Lubbock should follow it's own water rules

You know how the city fines people for not turning off their sprinklers and making ice in the road? Well, they need to follow their own rules.

On a recent morning, a fire hydrant was leaking and made ice on the road at South loop 289 frontage road and Bangor. My husband and two little boys were in an accident because of it. They were headed east toward Slide Road when a lady pulled out onto the frontage road from Bangor. She hit that ice, caused by the leaky fire hydrant and spun out. My husband was not able to stop in time to prevent an accident.

It seems like the city should pay attention to their own water leaks as much as they do the citizen's.
