In the race for the House seat being vacated by Carl Isett, HD84, we have an insider big-government republican running but, we also have a Republican-hating Democrat who, after being thrown out of office after one-term by his own radical Democrat voters, switched parties in hopes of reviving his political career.

Yes, Ysidro Gutierrez voted well on some county budget votes in his brief stay in office. And I roundly praised him for such but, you need to be aware of what he really thinks of Republicans.

Here are just a few quotes from Ysidro Gutierrez from a piece he wrote for El Editor newspaper just before our last gubernatorial Primary Election. And I quote Ysidro: “Only “The Rich” are served by Republicans. The Republicans have always been the party of “The Rich.”” He wrote: “Every Republican initiative is hurtful first to Hispanics, children, the elderly, and the infirm.”

There is much, much more, including a charge that Republicans are “persecuting children”. These are his thought-out, written and edited for publication, words I’ve quoted. Ysidro Gutierrez is a Republican hater and his words put him in the camp of the most radical, liberals in the country. Ysidro has never apologized to us for these scandalous charges; he’s not taken any of it back, and; he’s simply not trustworthy as a Republican.
