Hypothetical conversation between a city prosecutor and city councilman based on real events that just chapped my hide:
Councilman: Have you seen the parking situation at the Covenant Medical Plaza Offices across from Maxey Park? There's not enough space in the parking lot, so people line the curbs and park in the street. We could make one side of the street "No Parking". Then we designate the curb by the clinic "One-Hour Parking". This forces the many of the patients to park in one-hour parking. No one gets out of a doctor's appointment in less than an hour. We'll rake in the cash!
Prosecutor: I think it's a great idea! I'm sure I'll get letters from citizens asking me to forgive their citations because they were unable to leave within the allotted time due to undergoing a medical procedure or escorting a sick child. But never mind their plight. We've struck gold with this one!
Robert, thanks for being the ear that hears our cries and the voice that shouts them out for all to hear.
Ryan
Pratt responds:
As a hypothetical conversation this was just too good not to post!
