In our discussion about the radical revolutionaries behind the local arm of Saul Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation, known as the West Texas Organizing Strategy, you may notice that I’ve not made calls to shut them down.
Unlike the hypocritical Left, that often calls for the silencing of talk radio and conservative speech, mostly via under-handed regulation, I’ve no desire to stifle political speech. My purpose is to pull the mask off of this group so that people understand that the WTOS is a radical political organization, not a group of community interest.
For example, UMC Health System and Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, both taxpayer owned entities, have no more business funding this group through program advertisements than they do buying ads in the Republican or Democrat parties’ convention brochures. Covenant Health System can do what it wants but its board of directors should be aware that they are expending funds that directly support a group intent on the destruction and remaking of the country as a socialist paradise.
Senator Duncan should not be working with this group to bring them ACORN style government project money to manage, whether in cooperation with South Plains College or not. The WTOS is a political organization with a published goal of gaining political power to radically alter our country. To work with them is to fund, encourage, and empower the direct enemy of Liberty.
