Pratt,

I normally try to stay away from comment sections of news stories due to the number of unintelligent knuckleheads that reside there but I was unable to help myself when it came to this story of the mural controversy. KCBD posted the story on their Facebook wall so those with an account could comment. I'm not sure if you've read them or not. I'll post a link below.

I got into an argument with the guy that painted the mural after he started responding to comments that were being posted. The ignorance displayed by some of the folks in that comment thread still has my blood boiling two days later. What upset me the most was the painter, Jose, using his service in the military as an excuse for his actions. He stated that he served in the Marines and that he fought to protect freedom of expression. Since when did service in the military give you a free pass to break the law? When did the 1st amendment give anyone the right to deface someone else's private property?

As I stated in the comment thread, the future is hear. We now live in a society where private property rights take a backseat to the arts and culture.

Thanks for all you do. Love the show!

Pratt responds:
Very similar to what I said on the show in the 2nd hour about this subject.
